Beaches
Along the coastline around Vigo there are a large number of beaches. In total there are about 45 beaches around the city, ranging from the largest such as Samil and O Vao, to smaller coves like Saiáns, not to mention the paradisiacal beaches on the Cíes Islands.
With such a wide range of beaches one is never far from the sea and there are excellent facilities for water sports.
There is also a total of five nudist beaches in Vigo. Three of them are very close to the city – there is on in Coruxo and two at Saiáns; and the other two are on the Cíes Islands.
